Tips:
To trigger on small objects or movements, use several small motion detection windows rather than one large window
and select a low object size.
To avoid triggering on small objects, select a high object size.
If no objects should appear in the Include Window, select a high history level. This w ill cause motion detection to trigger as
long as the object is present in the window .
To only detect ashing light, select a low sensitivity. In other cases high sensitivity is recommended.
Audio detection
The Axis product can be con gured to generate an alarm when audio rises above, falls below or passes the audio alarm level.The
alarm level can be set in the range 0–100 where 0 is the most sensitive and 100 the least sensitive.
1. Go to Events > A udio Detection.
2. Set the audio alarm level and click Save.
3. Go to Events > Event Types andsetupatriggeredevent,seeSet up a triggered event, on page 28.
Note
A multi-connector cable (available from Axis) is required when connecting external audio equipment to the Axis product.
See Multi-Connector Cable (sold separately), o n page 45.
Port Status
The list on the Events > Port Status page shows the status of the product’s input and output ports. Inputs and outputs are congured
from the System Options > Ports & Devices page which requires administrator rights.
Note
A multi- connector cable (available from Axis) is required when connecting I/O devices to the Axis product. See
Multi-Connector Cable (sold sep arately), on page 45.
