• Use Enter . As a result the Measured ALC value will be
limited to the maximum ambient light value. Use Enter
again to store the value.
• However, if you wish to adapt the ambient light conditions
to the definition of the selected reading room, dim the
light in the room so that the measured ambient light
becomes lower that the maximum ambient light.
• Then use Enter again to execute the Measure ALC Value
function once more. As a result the actually measured
ambient light value will be copied as Measured ALC Value.
Finally use Enter again to store the value.
Switching DPMS on/off
Operating precautions
Continuous operation of the display with the same image may result in
some image sticking on the LCD panel. Over 10 hours operation with the
same image content is not recommended.
Switching on DPMS on display and PC and activating a good screen saver
may decrease the risk of image sticking (image retention).
To switch DPMS on/off:
1. Touch any of the soft touch keys.
The front illumination is switched on.
2. While the illumination is on, touch the Enter
touch key to
display the main menu.
3. Use the Up
or Down touch keys to select the Settings menu.
Use Enter
to open the menu.
4. Use Up
or Down to select DPMS. Use Enter to go into edit
mode.
5. Use Up
or Down to select On or Off.
