2. Select the desired Unit (nits or foot-lambert).
3. Enter the Screen luminance (either in nits or foot-lambert).
4. Alter the HDR boost if necessary. You can modify this value to somewhere between 0.8 and 1.2.
6.7.7 HDR PQ tone mapping (Light)
About
When a user is playing HDR content, every movie mastered with different brightness level, while the projector
is configured to only play on 1 brightness level. As a result when a brightness mismatch occurs the image is
either washed out or too dark. Without this feature playing HDR content is really not possible.
Functional description
This is an automatic function in the projector, and normally this will fully compensate for the variance in the
brightness level.. But in some cases there can be necessary to adjust manually. This is possible via the menu
Home/Image/Advanced/PQ.
Enter the menu, and move the slider to the desired value between 0,8 and 1,2..
