3.5.21 TEST USB
This tests the USB A and B socket functionality. If the test passes then “USB PASS” is
displayed, if it fails the “USB FAIL” is displayed.
3.5.22 TEST ETHERNET
This test checks the Ethernet port functionality.
3.5.23 TEST RAM
This tests the correct operation of the RAM chips. The displays will indicate either “RAM
PASS” or “RAM FAIL” if it passes of fails the test.
3.5.24 TEST SWITCHES
This tests the door switches
3.5.25 TEST RETENTION
This test tests the units RAM and retention circuit. When the test is entered the display says
“FILLING MEMORY” If there are no faults then the display will indicate “CYCLE POWER”
and the unit will now need to be powered down for 20 seconds after the LEDS have
extinguished.
Power on the unit and the display should indicate “CHECK RETENTION” followed by
“RETENTION PASSED” or if it fails “RETENTION FAILED”
If it has failed the RAM then the display will indicate “RAM FAILED”
If it has failed the battery then the display will indicate “BATTERY LOW”
When the unit is powered on then the display will indicate “PASSED” or “ERRORS”. The
errors listed can be viewed by selecting the up down buttons. To exit press the ENTER or
EXIT buttons
