At the start of the gauging process a check is done to make sure that
there is no file existing with the same name. If one is existing the user
has to confirm if the file should be overwritten:
Press "OK" if you would like to overwrite the existing gauging file. If the
original file is not to be overwritten, its name is changed to "_1" and the
file is saved.
Please note that the capacity of the chamber at the IN connection is al-
ways measured during the gauging process.
In order to avoid unnecessary transfer pumping the gauging process
should proceed from the largest to the smallest chamber.
The gauging unit has two outlets so that the process can proceed con-
secutively into two chambers or external tanks. If one vehicle chamber is
connected at OUT1 and a cut-out or changeover criterion has been
specified in the settings (maximum dipstick height and/or maximum vol-
ume), the unit will switch over automatically to the second outlet if the cri-
terion is met. If only one outlet is connected, or if the cut-out criterion is
also fulfilled on the second outlet, an interval will automatically be activat-
ed. The "Change hoses" function can be used to tell the system which
connections have been changed:
