5. Pull the luer lock connectors outward and slide the luer lock fittings off the pump
head.

6. Remove the peristaltic pump tubing and discard according to standard laboratory
protocols and regulations.
7. Replace with new peristaltic pump tubing (PN 653146) by sliding the luer lock
fittings on the pump head.
8. Snap the pump element retainer clip into place. Reconnect the luer lock fittings
on the outside of the pumps. Ensure the blue and red tubes are not crimped or
over tightened.
Ensure that the luer lock fittings are connected to the correct tubing
elements.
9. Gently close the cytometer cover.
10. Place a sample tube with sheath on the SIP.
11. Plug in and turn on the cytometer.
12. Purge air from the cytometer (see section 4.6).
