I) Refit the protective motor housing to the pump housing. Ensure that it is
not twisted (Fig. ). The label must be on the front in the centre below52
outlet.
j) Retighten the screws (1, Fig. ) (torque 1.5 Nm). Ensure that the O-ring49
is inserted cleanly and is not damaged.
If the protective motor housing is not properly mounted on
the pump body, water can get in and destroy the PCBs.
This would invalidate the warranty
11.2 Replacing the momentum sensor cable:
a) Proceed as described under point 11.1,a and b.
b) Change the cable of the angular momentum sensor (see 15.1 spare part
list and 16.1 spare part drawing). Proceed as described under item 11.1
pos. h.
c) Proceed as described under point 11.1, h and j.
11.3 Change the integrated ressure limiting valve (version ball valve)ps
in the lubrication pump GIGA PLUS for the use in progressive
central lubrication systems.
a) Proceed as described under point 11.1, a to c.
b) Remove the ressure limiting valve (1, ig. 53 for lubrication cycle 1, 2 ig. 53 for lubrication cycle 2 and 3, ig. 53pF F F
for lubrication cycle 3) and replace it with a new one (see 15.2 spare part list and 16.3 spare part drawing).
c) Proceed as described in item 11.1 pos. h and j.
Remove the ressure limiting valve completely as the spare parts are delivered completelyp
assembled.
c) Proceed as described under point 11.1, pos. i and j.
If the protective motor housing is not
properly mounted on the pump body,
water can get in.
