> Place the thread spool on the spool pin so that the thread is unwound clockwise.
> Attach the appropriate thread disc.
> Feed the thread through the thread guide (2).
> Feed the thread through the thread guide (3).
> Place the end of the thread down along the duct.
> Guide the thread downwards around the thread take-up lever cover.
