12 Operating Instructions
Needle Threader
Lever Down and Thread in Hook
raise the needle
lower the presser foot
•press lever A down and simultaneously
guide the thread around hook B to the
right of the needle
Thread in Front of Needle
put the thread from the front into the
guide until it catches in the hook
Release the Lever and Thread
let go of lever A and thread
pull the thread loop through the needle

Thread Cutter
Thread Cutter on Head Frame
•pull both threads from front to back over
the cutter
the threads release automatically as soon
as the first stitch is sewn
Bringing up the Lower Thread
hold the upper thread
sew one stitch by tapping on the foot
control twice
pull the upper thread to bring the lower
thread up through the stitch plate hole
take both threads through the slit on the
presser foot to the back
pull threads over the head frame cutter
The bobbin thread must be
brought up through the stitch
plate for certain types of work.
The length of thread is sufficient
for most normal work if the lower
thread cutter has been used.
Special needles such as double
and triple needles must be
threaded by hand
