TEMPORARY ALTERED MEMORY
PERMANENTLY ALTERED STITCH MEMORY
1. Using the stitch created on the previous page, notice
that the stitch width has been changed. This is
indicated by the yellow number.
2. Select Stitch #1.
3. Re-select Blanket Stitch #1329 for 7/8 Series/#1309 for
4/5 Series from the Quilting Stitches menu. Notice that
the stitch has retained the altered settings.
4. Leave the width at the altered setting.
Permanently Altered Stitch
1. Select the Running Stitch; alter the stitch length to 1.0.
Adjust the width as desired.
2. Select the "i" menu. Select the Save Stitch Setting
Permanently icon.
The settings will remain in effect even after the machine is
turned off. When the machine is turned back on and the stitch
is selected, you will know that it was altered because of the
yellow outline around the "i" icon.
Reset a Permanently Altered Stitch to Default
Settings
1. Select the Running Stitch.
2. Touch the Reset Stitch to Factory Setting icon. The stitch
has now been reset to the original settings.
Temporary Altered Memory is an exclusive feature of BERNINA sewing machines. The machine will remember the last stitch
alterations made to any stitch. These alterations will remain in effect until manually changed, until CLR is touched, or until the
power to the machine is turned off.
B 880 PLUS, 790 PLUS, 770 QE PLUS, 770 QE, 740, 735, 590, 570 QE, 535, 480,
475 QE Only
Changes can be made to any stitch and saved in the permanent memory of the machine. The
machine will remember the altered stitch, even after the machine has been turned off. These
alterations will remain in effect until manually changed with the Reset function.
HISTORY: B 880 PLUS, 790 PLUS,
770 QE PLUS, B 735
Sewn stitches along with any alterations are
recorded in a History Menu. Stitches must be
sewn to be recorded and are retained even
after the machine is shut down. Stitches can
be selected from the History Menu. History
holds a maximum of 24 stitches for the B 880
PLUS/790 PLUS. History holds a maximum of
15 stitches for the B 770 QE PLUS and B 735.
