Cleaning the Detector
Cleaning the Detector
The exterior of the detector should be cleaned by wiping down with a
soft cloth lightly moistened with dilute detergent solution, followed by
wiping down with a cloth lightly moistened with deionized water.
Ensure that no moisture enters the detector.
Electrical shock and burns
Liquid in the detector electronics can cause shock hazard
and damage the detector.
Switch off and disconnect the power cord from the detector
before cleaning.
Do not use an excessively damp cloth during cleaning.
Drain all solvent lines before opening any fittings.
Allow the detector to dry off completely before reconnecting
power.
