The installation or removal of the battery may only be carried out by our customer services
and/or a company or person assigned by us.
The device can be operated without a mains power supply if a battery is installed.
Operating time: SC II 10 hours, SC II 7'' 4 hours. The rechargeable battery time is dependent
on the ambient temperature and on the brightness setting.
During battery operation, the brightness of the customer display is reduced. This preserves
the battery resulting in longer battery life.
With battery operation, printing speed is 66mm/sec.
Rechargeable batteries will run down even during prolonged idle periods if the scale is not
connected to the mains. For this reason, connect the scales to the mains power supply every
3 months at the latest.
If the scale is connected to the mains, the batteries are recharged while the scale is being
switched on (conservation charging). Charging time approx. 3.5 hours.
Overloading the batteries is prevented automatically by an integrated charging circuit. This
charging circuit also prevents any damaging total discharge. The battery lifetime reduces if it
is permanently operated at an almost discharged state.
