6.19 PLU with data of origin
When beef is sold the customer should be given information about the origin of the meat.
Beef is marked with a traceability number which is entered or scanned when sold. The abbre-
viated traceability number refers to the ident no., which allows traceability of the origin.
Data of origin are printed on the ticket or label in the operating mode Assisted Sales, Price
Labeling, Delivery Note and Cash Invoice. The data are not printed for Inventory, Purchase
Order and Return Delivery
There are two possible operating procedures for PLUs with data of origin:
– Manual input of abbreviated traceability number
– Abbreviated traceability number from configuration
6.19.1 Sale with manual input of abbreviated traceability number
When calling up an article (PLU) with origin data, one field is displayed for the abbreviated
traceability number and a second field is displayed for the ID number. After entering the
traceability no. (e.g. 12), the data of origin appears as defined in the format template, "Sales
display".
Menu setting
- In Commissioning, in the "Other" menu, define the data of origin and the traceability re-
port. Select 6 3 7
- In the configuration, in the "Basic Sales Settings" menu, define the data of origin without
abbreviated traceability number, select 5 3 6 3 / Data of origin:
Switch on "Data of origin active", switch on "Modification of data permitted", switch on
"Extended display".
In the "Ticket" and "Label" menus, switch "Print data of origin" on or off, selection 5 3 2
2 / 2 ticket and selection 5 3 2 2 / 4 label.
- Define the "Data of origin" in data maintenance and create the format template for the
ticket or label and sales display in "Format template".
Create conversion tables, select 2 9 6 Sales Tables
Create format templates, select 2 9 6 Format Templates or select 2 2 6 2
Data of Origin. Select 2 9 6 abbreviated traceability number
Activate "Print data of origin", select 2 9 6 Abbreviated traceability no.
- In PLU maintenance, from menu "Define PLU" "Print options" in "Data of origin" select
[man.input]" and "Format template for origin" 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, select 1 1 2 / Dept.no. / PLU
no. / 7.
