1. Conrm Nomad is clean and dry. Otherwise, perform a freshwater rinse and dry all components.
6. For opmal Baery longevity, charge the Baery to approximately 40% charge at least every three
months.
2. Allow the components to thoroughly dry before storage. Avoid leaving Nomad components in extreme
heat or prolonged exposure to sunlight. Heat and ultraviolet light will accelerate deterioraon of
components and may cause damage to Nomad.
3. Store the Air Hose by wrapping it around the Nomad Shell and using the bungees to keep it coiled up
with a gradual bend all around. There should not be any kinks or ght bends. Keep away from sharp
objects at all mes.
4. Do not leave the Lower Snorkel Tube connected to the Snorkel Tube Union. If le installed for long
periods of me, it may be exceponally dicult to separate the two pieces in the future.
5. Store in a cool, clean and dry place. Do NOT store in a place where temperatures may exceed 60
degrees Celsius / 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
11 Storage Instrucons
Storing the Baery in temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius may lead to res or explosions.
Always store Nomad and the Baery in a cool, clean and dry place to avoid the risk of a re, explosion or other
damage.
Allowing water- especially sea water- to remain inside the Nomad pump, Air Hose and Smart Reg for extended
periods may cause corrosion to internal components and growth of biological hazards such as mold and algae.
This may result in contaminang the breathing air. Always avoid contaminants entering the air intake.
Disconnue use and take correcve acons as soon as possible if contaminaon occurs.
