8.2 Powering Up
10. Count any audible beeps that are prior to the musical startup tone.
8. Remove the intake plug on top of the Nomad handle. This is crical to the startup - do not forget to do this!
9. Insert Power Cable to Baery Connector unl you hear/feel a click and prepare to listen for audible beeps
from Nomad.
7. Remove the Baery Door and posion the Baery so that it is parally installed, providing easy access to
the Power Cable.
11. If there are more beeps than the musical startup tone, refer to Secon 14.1 on Page 48 for informaon on
the meaning of audible beeps.
12 Conrm that the connector is fully installed.
13. Insert the Baery into the Baery Compartment and install the Baery Door unl it is fully seated. The lip
of the Baery Door should mate with the groove in the Baery.

A parally ghtened baery connector can allow water to touch the baery contacts. This may result in a failure
of the Baery and result in an out-of-air situaon. Always conrm the Power Cable connector is fully installed
onto the Baery Connector prior to the use of Nomad.

Always keep the Baery Door installed while operang Nomad. Operang Nomad with the Baery Door removed
may lead to electrical shock which may lead to serious injury or death. Do NOT operate Nomad if the Baery
Door is removed.
