8.7 Beginning the Dive
26. Turn the Smart Reg Knob to the ON posion.
27. Gently place Nomad into the water and uncoil the Air Hose.
28. Begin the dive and have fun, but be safe! Always follow the instrucons in the BLU3 Online Dive Training
Program and this Owner’s - Users Manual when diving.
29. Be prepared to make a controlled ascent to the surface at all mes in case of an out-of-air situaon.
Dropping or throwing Nomad into the water with hard impact may cause system failures that may lead to
out-of-air hazards. Always place Nomad into the water gently with low impact.
Do not operate Nomad with the hose coiled around the shell. Always uncoil and remove the enre air hose from
Nomad prior to use. Failure to uncoil the Air Hose from Nomad prior to diving may result in decreased stability or
cause system failures that may lead to out-of-air hazards.
