8.1 Component Inspecon
1. Carefully unpack and gently set all components on a at surface.
Remove the Nomad Air Hose from the bungees and set it, coiled up, on a at surface away from any sharp
objects.
2. Inspect all components to ensure parts are in place, rmly aached, and free of damage.
Power Cable O-ring •ConrmtheO-ringinsidetheNomadpowercableconnectorispresentand
fullyintactwithoutdamages.
Baery
•Conrmtheouteredgesarefullysealed,nogaps.
•Conrmthereisnodamageorcracks.
•ConrmtheLEDgaugelightsupandtheamountofchargeisunderstoodbytheuser.
Snorkel Tube Union •ConrmeachsideofthesnorkeltubeisfullyinsertedintotheSnorkelTubeUnionand
eachsideofthesnorkeltubemeetabouthalfwaythroughtheSnorkelTubeUnionsothat
it is snug and will not slide out during use.
Redundant Air Source You should always wear a redundant air source while Nomad diving. Follow the
instruconalmanualofyourredundantairsourceforthestartupinstrucons,including
llingwithairandpreparingfordiving.WerecommendSpareAir:spareair.com.
Snorkel Tube O-rings
•ConrmbothO-ringsarepresent.

Nomad may abruptly stop delivering air at any me due to a number of dierent reasons, leading to an out-of-air
hazard. You should always wear a redundant air source while Nomad diving. Conrm that your redundant air
source is lled with air and ready for diving before entering the water. Follow the instruconal manual of your
redundant air source for more informaon.
