8. Lay the straight edge on the right side of the
Blade 31, and conrm that the riving knife is
not touching.
9. Place a square flat against the left side of the
Riving Knife 25 to verify the Riving Knife 25 is
vertical and in-line with the Blade 31 (as shown
in Fig. 47).
10. If needed, use the Set Screws

81 to bring the
Riving Knife 25 vertical with the square.
11. Repeat step 6 to verify the position of the Riv-
ing Knife 25. Repeat steps 7 through 10 if nec-
essary.
12. After completing the adjustments, fully tighten
the Riving Knife Locking Screws

NOTE: Check that the Riving Knife 25 stays in line
with the Blade 31 when the Blade 31 is tilted at
any angle. Before making cuts, replace the Barrier
Guard Assembly 26 and Anti-Kickback Device 27.
