7) Check transducers:
• Unplug RF cable.
• Temporarily short RF cable pins A and B(red and black.) This precaution will remove
any charge that remains in the transducers.
• Set ohmmeter resistance scale to R x 10K. Connect positive lead to pin A and negative
lead to pin B. If short is indicated, inspect RF cable and transducers for short.
• Check for voltage leakage or insulation breakdown using a dielectric breakdown tester
(DC Hypot.) Connect the positive lead of the tester to the Pin A and the negative lead of
the tester to the Pin B. Slowly increase output to 2.5kV and check for breakdown or
leakage. No breakdown should occur. Leakage over 500µAmps is not acceptable.
• Check capacitance using a capacitor analyzer. The capacitance should be:
