Boil Sump Over-temperature Fault. The B/S TEMP FAULT Indicator Light will also be
lighted. The boil sump temperature has risen to 106% of the clean solvent boiling
temperature. This is generally the result of excessive contamination. Drain the boil sump
and refill with clean solvent. The ultrasonic sump and water separator generally do not
need to be drained.
5.12.6.2 dE2
Vapor Level Fault. The vapor level temperature sensor has detected a high temperature
that indicates that vapors have risen above the condensing coil. This generally is the
result of a cooling failure. Check the primary refrigeration system.
It may also be the result of very poor operating techniques such as spraying near the
sensor, excessive movement speed or large drafts.
5.12.6.3 dE3
Missing Boil Sump Temperature Probe. The boil sump probe has failed or become
disconnected.
5.12.6.4 dE4
Missing Ultrasonic Sump Temperature Probe. The ultrasonic sump probe has failed or
become disconnected.
5.12.6.5 DE5
Vapor Level Probe Missing. The temperature sensor located above the condensing coil
has failed.
5.12.6.6 DE6
Lower Vapor/Spray Probe Missing. The temperature sensor located below the
condensing coil has failed.
Note: Press HEAT to reset the display after the above faults have been corrected.
5.12.6.7 COO
The coolant temperature is above 85°F (resets at 70°F.) This may be normal during
startup until the cooling system reaches operating temperature. This display will
automatically reset when the fault has been corrected.
5.12.6.8 CLL
The low liquid level safety switch in the Boiling Sump has sensed low solvent level. Add
solvent. The BS LEV FAULT indicator will also be lighted.
5.12.6.9 COF
Controller switch SW2-2 is in the open position. Close the switch.
5.12.7 READY Indicator Does Not Light
The READY Indicator lights when the temperature sensor located just below the condensing
coil senses the presence of vapors. A 15 minutes delay is normal before the READY
Indicator lights after starting the heat. This is the time required for the solvent in the boil
sump to reach boiling temperature and for the sheet metal in the vapor zone to heat up. The
actual time depends upon the solvent and the environment.
If the READY Indicator does not light:
