Replacement Procedure:
l
CleantheO-ringsealsurfaceandtheO-ringgroovewithisopropylalcohol.
l
CleantheO-ringwithDIwaterpriortoinstallationinthesystem.
l
InstalltheO-ringinthegrooveprovided.TheO-ringgrooveisadoubledove-tailslotwiththe
narrowportionoftheslotatthetop.TheO-ringhastobecompressedinorderforittobeplaced
intothegroove.
l
OncetheO-ringhasbeenreplacedthesealshouldbecheckedforleaksusingaleak-checker.
TheeasiestmethodforplacingtheO-ringinthegrooveis:
l
InsertasmallportionoftheO-ringintothegrooveatoppositeendsofthering.
l
InsertasmallportionoftheO-ringintothegrooveat90°fromthepointsabove.
l
PresstheO-ringintothegrooveevenlyineach90°segment.DonotstretchtheO-ringtoprevent
excessiveloopingasthebalanceoftheO-ringisinserted.
NOTE: Do not allow the O-ring to twist during installation.
NOTE: Clean the O-ring by wiping down with DI water only. Do not use alcohol or other solvents, as
they may cause the O-ring to become brittle.

Reconnectallpower,communications,andairconnections,thenre-energizethesystemfollowingthe
"Power-upSequence"inthesystemmanual.
