The Concept
This manual is valid for two prod-
uct ranges:
● 2260 Investigator™
● 2260 Observer™
These are based on the same plat-
form and share the functions de-
scribed here. They are both Type
2260 Modular Precision Sound An-
alyzers, the only difference being
the range of applications they
support.
2260 Observer supports one-chan-
nel measurements of environmen-
tal noise and noise at work,
including real-time analyses of
sound, and measurements of re-
verberation time.
2260 Investigator in addition sup-
ports advanced one- and two-
channel applications such as
building acoustics, sound intensi-
ty measurements, and FFT analy-
sis with pure tone detection.
A 2260 Observer can be factory
upgraded to a 2260 Investigator.
