Error Check and Reset
5.4.2 Error Check
Job_Status?
Job_Status? provides a way of polling the error condition of the amplifier. Error No
indicates whether an interface or device error was found since the last reset of the
device. This is the same error number as found in the Error? query (see below), and
it is reset following the Error? query or after a Reset System command message.
The error number is returned if an error was encountered, and the value 0 is
returned if no error was found. See Chapter 8 for a full description of the error
numbers.
Note: After the error number is reset, only the first occurring error (device error or
interface error) is saved in Error No. Succeeding errors will not affect the response
of the Job_Status? query or the Error? query.
