Channel (MR) mode
The use of Channel (MR) mode is the main mode of the GMRS-V2. Here you will have access to
the preprogrammed GMRS, scanner and NOAA channels as well as modifying the privacy tones
(CTCSS and DCS) and power levels of the channels. To find out more on how to program
additional scanner channels see Chapter 11, Programming.
If you have channels programmed with Transmit power set to Low, you can use the
key to temporarily switch over to high power if you're having trouble getting through.
