Chapter 11. – Programming Channels
The BTECH GMRS-V2 features 200 memory channels that each can hold: Custom channels
(GMRS, NOAA, or Scanner channels), group signaling information, bandwidth, and a seven-
character alphanumeric identifier or channel name

GMRS Channels (001-030) are the default programmed GMRS channels, you can remove and
rearrange the memory locations as preferred, a radio menu reset will restore the radio to the
default 30 channel lineup. GMRS channels can be customized (such as tones and bandwidth).
Channels 000-199 can be customized as you desire with the choices of: Scanner. GMRS, or
NOAA channels.

Adding Receive Only Channels
To program receive-only channel, start by switching your radio to Frequency (VFO) mode by
turning the radio OFF, then Press and Hold button while powering ON.
