Setting Date and Time
1. Select from the real-time display.
2. Select Date/Time.
a. Touch Year. Use the touchscreen keyboard to type in the correct year, then press Done.
b. Set the correct Month, Day, Hour and Minute by pressing each appropriate field and using the
touchscreen dropdown menu to choose the correct setting. Use the double arrows at the bottom of the
menu to view more choices. Select Done to save the new setting. To exit the menu without making a
new selection, use Cancel or touch anywhere outside the menu.
c. Touch Time Zone. Use the dropdown menu to select and touch the appropriate time zone. Use the
double arrows to view the next set of time zones. To exit the menu without making a new selection,
use Cancel or touch anywhere outside the menu.
d. Touch Daylight Savings. Select Yes if Daylight Saving Time affects your time zone or No if it
does not. To exit the menu without making a new selection, use Cancel or touch anywhere outside
the menu.
e. To set the precise date and time for when Daylight Savings starts and ends, proceed as follows:
a. Touch either set of double arrows ( or ) at the bottom of the Set Time/Date screen.
b. Set the Daylight Saving START Month, Week, Day, Hour and Minute.
c. Set the Daylight Saving END Month, Week, Day, Hour and Minute.
d. Select Done to save and exit, or Cancel to exit without saving.
3. Select Done again to return to the real-time display.
Time Synchronization
The SYNC feature allows time synchronization to occur only when the ELI 280 is interfaced to a product which
supports ELI Link or E-Scribe.
1. Select from the real-time display.
2. Select Advanced.
3. Select System.
4. Select to advance to the next page.
5. Select Sync Mode.
6. Select Transmit+Orders+Date/Time from the dropdown menu.
7. Select Done to save and exit, or Cancel to exit without saving. Select Done again to return to the real-
time display.
NOTE: Select at any time it appears to return to the real-time display.
NOTE: This device supports automatic time synchronization with a remote server. Inaccurate time/date
settings can result in ECGs marked with inaccurate time stamps. Confirm the accuracy of the synchronized
time prior to acquiring ECGs.
