ECG DIRECTORY
ECG Directory
The standard ECG directory saves up to 40 individual ECG records. The optional expanded memory permits up to
200 ECGs to be stored.
To access the ECG directory, select from the real-time display, followed by Directory.
Sort the directory by Name or ID by touching the header of choice.
Use the double arrows ( or ) at the bottom of the screen to move page by page through the list of acquired
ECGs. The number of pages, as well as the current page, displays to the left of the double arrows.
When a patient from the directory is selected, a second window (sub directory) will display all of the ECG records
stored in the directory for that patient, along with the date and time of each acquisition. Records that have been
printed, transmitted, or deleted will be indicated by a in the appropriate column.
NOTE: Records are automatically deleted through a first in-first out process when the maximum number
of records has been reached.
NOTE: A password may be required before entry into the ECG directory. Obtain the password from the
department Administrator.
NOTE: Select at any time it appears to return to the real-time display.
Searching ECG Records
To search the directory by patient name:
1. Select from the real-time display, followed by Directory.
2. Select the Name column header.
3. Select Search Worklist and a touchscreen keyboard will appear.
4. Use the touchscreen keyboard to enter the first few letters of the last name and move to the general location
of the desired patient record, or continue typing the patient name to obtain a closer proximity. Use Cancel
to return to the directory without using the search feature.
5. Select the patient’s name from the presented list. Use Back to return to the directory.
6. To search by ID, DOB or Last ECG, select the desired column header before selecting Search Worklist.
To exit the directory, select Done. Select Done again to return to the real-time display.
