Acquired ECG Storage
Print, send, erase, save, or view the interpretation for an acquired ECG by following the steps below:
1. Select from the real-time display to acquire an ECG.
2. From acquired ECG view, press the double arrow () to advance through the report interpretation. Press
the double arrow () to return to acquired ECG view.
3. Press Print to initiate a printout.
4. Press Send to transmit the report to an ECG management system.
5. Press Erase to delete the record from the directory.
6. Press Done to save the record to the directory and return to real-time display. The message “Saving” will
confirm storage.
Acquiring Rhythm Strips
You can print a rhythm strip of the real-time ECG viewed on the display. Rhythm strips from the real-time ECG
display can be acquired with the patient connected to the ELI 280 and after patient identification information is
entered. A rhythm strip may also be printed without entering the patient ID by .
NOTE: Printed rhythm acquisitions are not stored in the ELI 280.
The rhythm strip’s display format, trace speed, ECG gain and ECG filter setting can be configured to a variety of
settings by performing the following steps:
1. From the real-time display, touch anywhere within the ECG display to view the setting choices.
2. Select the desired choices for Display Format, Display Speed, Display Gain and Display Filter.
3. Press OK to save the settings, and reformat and display the ECG. Select Cancel to return without saving.
To stop a rhythm print, press and the writer will automatically stop, allowing the user to start acquiring
additional data with new time stamp and demographics if required.
NOTE: Rhythm printing is only enabled when patient is connected. Likewise, rhythm printing will
automatically stop if a patient is disconnected.
NOTE: While printing, if the cue mark is not detected for 5 consecutive pages, printing will stop.
When Rhythm Format selection is configured to either 3- or 6-Channel, press to switch between lead groups
that are printed and viewed during rhythm printing. Selection of the Lead button during rhythm printing stops and starts
the printing and display of the lead sets in the following order:
For 6 channel Format:
a) Configured set
b) I aVF
c) V1 - V6
For 3 channel Format:
a) Configured set
b) I III
c) aVR aVF
d) V1 - V3
e) V4 - V6
