Post-Mastectomy Care
This optional module allows learners to practice post-mastectomy care.
To use the Post-Mastectomy wound kit:
1. Remove the female skin from Ares.
2. Replace with the post-mastectomy skin.
3. Place the end of a drainage system through the hole and underneath the skin.
4. Moulage the drainage.
Post-Mastectomy Wound Kit
The kit includes:
• Post-operative left total mastectomy
incision with staples
• Opening for drain tube to be placed
under the skin
• Normal right breast
