1.Followmachinesafetyposition.See2-2and2-3.
2.Unscrewanddiscardthewaterseparator(1).
3.Cleanthewaterseparatormountingsurface.
4.Installanewwaterseparator.
5.Starttheengineandmakesurethatnofuelisleaking.

Themachineisprovidedwithasafetystructureforthe
operator:anti-overturnsafetysystem(ROPS)accord-
ingtodirectivesISO3471,SAE1040Candsafetysys-
temagainstthefallofobjects(FOPS)accordingtothe
directivesISO3449,SAEJ231protectionlevel2.A
ROPScanconsistofthecabframeorofatwoorfour
uprightsstructureusedforthesafetyoftheoperator,
soastominimizethepossibilityofsevereinjuries.The
structureandthefasteningdeviceswhichconstitutethe
connectionwiththemachinearepartoftheROPS.
TheProtectiveStructureisaspecialsafetycomponent
ofyourmachine.
DONOTattachanydevicetotheProtectiveStructure
forpullingpurposes.DONOTdrillholestotheProtec-
tiveStructure.
TheProtectiveStructureandinterconnectingcom-
ponentsareacertiedsystem.Anydamage,re,
corrosionormodicationwillweakenthestructureand
reduceyourprotection.Ifthisoccurs,theProtective
StructureMUSTbereplacedsothatitwillprovide
thesameprotectionasanewProtectiveStructure.
ContactyourdealerforProtectiveStructureinspection
andreplacement.
Afteranaccident,re,tiporrollover,thefollowing
MUSTbeperformedbyaqualiedtechnicianbefore
returningthemachinetoeldorjobsiteoperation.
TheProtectiveStructureMUSTbereplaced.
ThemountingorsuspensionfortheProtectiveStruc-
ture,operatorseatandsuspension,seatbeltsand
mountingcomponentsandwiringwithintheoperator’s
protectivesystemMUSTbecarefullyinspectedfor
damage.
AlldamagedpartsMUSTbereplaced.
