Shorttermstorage
Ifthemachineistoremainunusedforaperiodexceed-
ing30days,storeitundercoverorcoveritwithawater-
prooftarpaulin.Cleanthemachinecompletely.Paintall
surfacesofthemachinewherethepaintworkisdam-
aged,toavoidrust.
Checkthemachineforwornordamagedpartsandre-
placeasnecessary.
Lubricatethemachineanddrainthehydraulicoiltank,
gearbox,andengineandrellwiththecorrectgrades
ofoil.
Checktheradiatorcoolantlevel.Ifthemachineiswithin
100hbeforethescheduledmaintenanceafter2000h,
orwithin2monthsbeforethemaintenancescheduled
after2years,performtheprescribedmaintenanceop-
erations.
Stoptheengineandoperateallthehydrauliccontrolsto
releaseallresidualpressurefromthehydrauliccircuits.
Coattheexposedportionsofthecylinderrodsandcon-
trolvalvespoolswithgrease.
Removethebatteryfromthemachineandstoreit.
Covertheexhaustpipeopening.
