Donotusegasolineorlowashpointsolventstocleanthe
fuellterand/orthefuelpump.Cleanonlyinawell-venti-
latedareaawayfromsourcesofsparksorame,includ-
inganyapplianceswithapilotlight.
Drainthefuel-waterseparatorintoasuitablecontainer
anddisposeofthecontentsinaccordancewithlocalen-
vironmentalregulations.
Dieselfuelescapingunderpressurecanpenetratethe
skin,causingseriousinjury.Donotuseyourhandto
checkforleaks.Useapieceofcardboardorpaperto
searchforleaks.Wearprotectiveglovesandeyeprotec-
tion.Ifanyuidmakescontactwiththeskin,seekmedical
attentionimmediatelytoensuregangrenedoesnotform.
