Machinedisposal
Whenthemachinereachestheendofitsusefullife,
observethefollowingrecommendationsfordisposal:
•
SeeyourCASECONSTRUCTIONdealertomake
anagreementforyourdealertoproperlydisposeof
themachine,or
•
Sellthemachinetoacompanythatspecializesinthe
properdisposalofindustrialmachinery.
Ifyouwanttokeepthemachineonyourpremises(for
sparepartsorotherreusablecomponents,etc.)you
mustobservethefollowinginstructions:
1.Makesurethatyouparkthemachineonhardand
levelground.Bringallmoveablecomponentsto
thelowestpositionand/orsafestposition.
2.Storethemachinewiththeaxlesonwoodenblocks
inordertokeepthemachineupright,asthetires
willdeateovertime.
3.ContactyourCASECONSTRUCTIONdealeror
otherqualiedHeating,Ventilation,andAirCon-
ditioning(HVAC)technicianstoreclaimtherefrig-
erantintheair-conditioningsystem.Donotopen
theair-conditioningsystemyourself.
4.Removethebatteryorbatteriesfromthemachine.
Bringdeadbatteriesordamagedbatteriestoyour
[Brand]dealer,whowilldisposeoftheusedbatter-
iesorrecycletheusedbatteriesproperly.
5.Draintheremainingfuelintoappropriatecontain-
ers.
6.Draintheoilfromengine,transmission,andhy-
draulicsystemsintoappropriatecontainers.Take
theoiltoyourlocalwasterecyclingfacility.Payat-
tentiontolocalrulesthatmayrequireyoutostore
thedifferenttypesofoilsseparately.Removethe
lters.
7.Ifthemachinehasaseparatebrakecircuitwith
brakeuid,drainthebrakeuid.Takethebrake
uidtoyourlocalwasterecyclingfacility.
NOTE:Themachineisnowreadyforalong-term
outdoorstorageand/orforscrappingafterthere-
movalofreusablecomponents.
