1.Opentheenginehoodtoaccesstothefuellterwater
separatorandplaceacontainerwithanappropriate
capacityunderthefuellterwaterseparator(1).

2.Rotateclockwisethefuelcock(2)locatedonthefuel
lterwaterseparator(1)toclosethefuelow.
3.Loosenthedrainplug(3)locatedatthebottomofthe
fuellterwaterseparator.
4.Drainthewatercollectedinside.
5.Tightenthedrainplug(3)to1–2N·m(0.7–1.5lbft)
6.Openthefuelcock(2).
7.Primethefuelsystem.
8.Checkforleaks.

1.TurnthestarterswitchtoONpositionfor10–15s.The
electricfuelpumpprimethefuelsystem.
NOTE:neverusethestartermotortocranktheenginein

theringgear.
