handsideofthemachine.Opentheright-handsidehood
toaccesstothebatterydisconnectswitch.
Thebatterydisconnectswitchallowstocutoffanypower
supplyintheelectricalsystemofthemachine.
NOTE:whentheswitchisturnedtoOFFposition,allelec-
tricalcircuitsarecutoffandthestationsstoredonthera-
diopresetsandthetimesetfortheclockwillbecleared.

Placethebatterydisconnectswitchinthe(I)positiondur-
ingnormaloperation.
Placethebatterydisconnectswitchinthe(O)position
onlyduringthefollowingoperations:
1.Batteryremoval.
2.Electricalsystemconnectorremoval
3.Electricalsystemservice
4.Long-termstorage
5.Asrequiredforinspectionsandrepairs
6.Welding
NOTICE:neverturnthebatterydisconnectswitchto(O)
positionwiththeenginerunning.Thiscoulddamagethe
electricalsystem.
NOTICE:neverturnthebatterydisconnectswitchto(O)
positionwithin3minafterthestarterkeyisturnedoff.The
machinecontrolsystemandtheenginecontrolsystemwill
bedamaged.
