Evaluate(ifnotknown)themassoftheobjecttobe
handled.
•
PresstheONsideoftheoverloadswitch(1)toacti-
vatetheoverloadwarningalarm.Theoverloadwarning
alarmisintendedtoavoidliftingofexcessiveloads.
NOTICE:ifanoverloadconditionisdetectedduringthe
handlingoftheload,Whenthemachineisoverloaded,
abuzzersoundsandtheredwarninglampintheinstru-
mentclusterisON.Placetheloadontothegroundand
checktheloadconditionsmakingreferencetothechart
locatedinsidethecab/canopy.
•
Securetheloadwiththeloadhandlingeye(optional)
(2)locatedonthebucketlinkagerod,usingslingingde-
vicesandchainsadequatefortheloadtobelifted.In
ordertolimittheswingingoftheload,avoidslingingit
withcablesand/orchainstoolong.
•
Extendthebucketcylindertoendstroke.
•
Checkthesurroundingworkingareaandmakesure
thatthepathtobetravelledwiththeloadisfreefrom
obstacles.
•
Liftslowlytheload,avoidingsharpmovementswhich
couldcauseswingingoftheload.Keeptheloadnear
themachine,toimprovethestabilityandoperate,
preferably,alongitslongitudinalaxis,ratherthancross-
ways.Lifttheloadfromthegroundtheminimumheight
required.
•
Positionandplacetheloadwheredesired,makingsure
thatitisrestingonasolidbaseappropriateforitsmass.
•
Removethechains.

Safetyvalves
Thesafetyvalvesareintendedtopreventthefrontequip-
mentfromdroppingdownintheeventofabreakageor
burstofahoseinthehydrauliclinesofboomandarm.
Thesafetyvalveskeepthefrontequipmentintheposi-
tionatthetimeofbreakage,andthusallowtheoperator
toslowlylowertheattachmenttothegroundusingtheleft
andrightcontrollevers.
Moreover,thesafetyvalvesallowanoperatortokeepthe
frontequipmentintheselectedoperatingposition,reduc-
ingtheleakagesthatoccurintheneutralpositionofthe
boomspoolandthearmspoolinthemaincontrolvalve.
NOTICE:priortostartinganyhandlingofsuspended
loadscheckthatthevalvesdonotshowclearevidence
ofdamagesorabnormalnoises.Intheeventabnormal
conditionsarefound,contacttheCASECONSTRUC-
TION.dealer.
NOTICE:thepressuresettingofthesafetyvalvesmust
becheckedevery6months.ConsulttheCASECON-
STRUCTIONdealer.
