Configuring the Remote Management Interface
Step Action
1 Ensure DHCP is disabled.
dhcp client disable
2 Modify the remote management interface configuration.
interface remote set {[ip <IpAddressWithMask>], [vlan
<Vlan>], [gateway <IpAddress>}]
Note: You can change the IPv4 gateway in the same command line as the
IP address to avoid loss of connectivity due to mismatch between IP and
gateway. If you specified a gateway IP address in step 2, skip to step 4.
3 Configure a default gateway.
interface set gateway <IpAddress>
4 Validate that your changes were made.
interface remote show
5 Save and complete the process.

You have configured the remote management interface.
