2. Set the seng for DECIMAL PLACE:
a. Use the DECIMAL PLACE determined in SPAN sengs, step 2.b.
3. Set the seng for ZERO:
a. Remove any input to the transducer so that it is at ‘rest’ (where you would expect a ‘0’ reading).
b. Adjust ZERO up or down so that the transducer reads as close to ‘0’ as possible.
If necessary make these ne adjustments:
Transducers are not perfect and there will be dierences in the output of an actual transducer and its ideal type.
The output will vary between idencal transducers of the same model.
Depending on the precision required by the process, the user can adjust the calculated SPAN seng manually to
compensate for the error in the actual transducer being used.
ZERO may have to be readjusted aer changing SPAN.
4.7 USB Drive Port Funcons
4.7.1 Downloading Data Logs
The system is easily able to save its data logs to a USB Flash Drive. The data logs will be saved in a folder that is named
the same as the Site Name alias in a *.csv le named with the date and me. The USB Flash Drive must be formaed to
FAT formang. Perform the following sequences to save the system data logs:
1. Insert the USB Flash Drive into the USB DRIVE port on the back of the board.
2. CIMARRON USB SERVICE will appear on the display followed by a progress bar and a page count.
3. Wait for the data log save process to complete.
4. Remove the USB Flash Drive when prompted to by the display.
4.7.2 Loading & Saving Sengs
The system is easily able to save its System and Applicaon sengs to a USB Flash Drive in order for them to be
transferred to other system. The USB Flash Drive must be formaed to FAT formang. Perform the following sequences
to save or load the system sengs:
1. Stop the system applicaon by pressing the STOP buon.
2. Press and hold the BOOT buon.
3. Insert the USB Flash Drive into the USB DRIVE port on the back of the board.
4. Connue to hold down the BOOT buon unl SETTINGS TRANSER: appears on the display.
5. Select LOAD SETTING or SAVE SETTINGS.
6. When the selected acon is complete the system will prompt the user to remove the USB Flash Drive and then
automacally restart.
