7.5.- cos Φ
Note: This screen is not visible on the “slave” devices.
The device has two reactive power compensation modes (Figure 63).

Mode 1
In this mode, cos Φ is set to a fixed value. The device will attempt to ensure that the reactive power on
the mains side corresponds to the specified cos Φ.
Mode 2
In this mode, two limits are defined to form an acceptance range. The device will adjust the reactive
power on the mains side to keep cos Φ within the specified acceptance range.
This mode minimises the amount of power used by the device to compensate for reactive power, thus
reducing its energy consumption.
