PLATFORM_UCAST Messages
Error Message PLATFORM_UCAST-3-HSRP: [chars].
Explanation The Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) module for unicast routing encountered an
error. [chars] describes the error.
Recommended Action Copy the message exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log.
Research and attempt to resolve the error by using the Output Interpreter. Use the Bug Toolkit to

Explanation The more specific prefix could not be programmed into Ternary Content Addressable
Memory (TCAM) and is covered by a less specific prefix. This could be a temporary condition. The
output of the show platform ip unicast failed route privileged EXEC command lists the failed
prefixes.
