Figure 15: Mounting the Router on a 19-inch EIA Rack
The router can be mounted in an ETSI rack but the required bend radius for the cables and fibers
within the 300 mm ETSI specification cannot be maintained.
If you want to mount the router in ETSI cabinets, you need to have a custom-made cabinet front
door to meet the fiber bend radius requirement.
Note
Step 6 Install the 8 or 12 (4 or 6 per side) 12-24 x 3/4-inch or 10-32 x 3/4-inch screws through the holes in the bracket
and into the threaded holes in the equipment rack posts.
Step 7 Use a tape measure and level to verify that the chassis is installed straight and level.
Assembling the Plenum (N560-4-F2B-AIR-U=)
The plenum allows the air around the router to be distributed evenly.
If a plenum is to be installed on the rack, ensure that it is first assembled before it is mounted on the rack.
