CONTROL MODULE KEYPAD
When starting for the first time, if there is no request for operation from the indoor unit, the main control module displays the text
OFF. The request for operation displays the operating mode (cool) and the text ON, if the unit is working in chiller mode, or the
text ON and the operating mode (heat) if the unit is working in heat pump mode.
LED compressor
• ON if the compressor is on
• OFF if the compressor is off
• BLINK if timers are in progress
Defrost LED
• ON when defrost active
• OFF if defrost disabled or terminated
• BLINK if defrost count time in progress
ON if controller in Heating mode. When the compressor or pump operating hours are displayed, if on signifies that the value
displayed must be multiplied by 100 (hours*100).
ON if controller in Cooling mode
If neither the COOL nor the HEAT LED is not on, the controller is in STAND-BY
SETTING THE OPERATING PARAMETERS
The MSAN unit does not have any directly accessible parameters; the parameters can be displayed after entering a
password. The password-protected parameters are managed by personnel from the authorised service centres.
MEANING OF THE BUTTONS
ON-OFF button a) If pressed for more than 2 seconds, the thermoregulator switches from ON to OFF or vice-versa.
b) Pressing this button once resets all the manual-reset alarms that are not active.
The intervention counters are also reset, even if these are not active.
c) In menu mode becomes the scroll down button.
d) Decreases the value of the selected parameter.
MODE button a) Pressing and releasing both buttons within 2 seconds goes up one level in the configuration menu.
ON-OFF
MODE button a) Keeping both buttons pressed for more than 2 seconds goes up 1 level in the configuration menu.
ON-OFF b) If the last level of a menu is displayed, pressing together and releasing within two seconds moves back up
one level.
MODE button a) In menu mode becomes the scroll up button.
b) Increases the value of the selected parameter.
