COMPRESSOR CUT-OUT
Compressor discharge
temperature within limits?
Unit working
NO
Check parameters, e.g.:
superheating, refrigerant
charge, etc.
YES
Notes
1) Measure, using a thermometer in direct contact, the temperature of the compression line at the position of the compressor
safety thermostat. A correct refrigerant charge corresponds to a maximum temperature of 85°C/90°C.
Higher temperatures mean excessive superheating of the inlet gas; check the right operation of the expansion device.
2) The thermostat inside the compressor is activated at a temperature of around 135°C. Temperatures lower than 100°C must
correspond to a closed contact and the enabling of the operation of the compressor.
