Using the transceiver

To tune the antenna if you have an automatic antenna tuner:

In Channel mode, select
the channel you want to
use and wait until the
channel is clear of all
voice and data traffic.
Example of the display:

Tune
During tuning, the transceiver
beeps every second. Tuning
takes a few seconds to
complete.
3.
Check the result of
tuning from the table
above.
Read the message on the top
line of the display and listen to
the type of beep.

