Changing transmitter power
You can set the transceiver to transmit at high or low power.
The usual setting is high power. For short range
communication this may be too powerful. For example,
excessive signal strength may cause distortion if you transmit
to a transceiver sited close to you.
To change transmitter power:

sure that the transceiver is
not scanning.

To switch between high
and low transmitter power,
press
F2
The left of the display indicates
the selected power setting:
HI
(high, as in this example) or
LO
(low):
