Sending calls

To send a GPS position call:
Action Notes
1.
To find a good channel
to use, send selective
beacon calls on the
frequencies scanned by
the other station.
See Selective beacon call on
page 4-29.
2.
In Channel mode, select
the best channel and
wait until the channel is
clear of all voice and
data traffic.
3.
Press
F1
The display shows the last type
of call made:

Selcall:
TYPE

The top right position of the
display shows the address of
the last station called.
4.
Repeatedly press
F2
until you see
Send
GPS info
displayed on
the top line.
