NOTE
To feed the wiring through the lock nut, start with the 7-wire mascon plug. Turn it on its side
and gently push it through the nut. The other wires will slide through easily.
3) In the enclosure, connect the red and black wires for the 27 volt DC supply to terminals
T7200 and T7204. Plug the 7-wire mascon connector into terminal T7207. Connect the
black and white wires for the car gate switch to the black and white wires left loose in the
box.
The photo eye connection board enclosure is shipped separately, normally with the photo eye
cable pre-wired and attached. It is mounted to the car door adjacent to the top photo eye.
4) Route the wires from the photo eyes through the rubber grommets in the top of the
enclosure (Figure # 32) and neatly tie-wrap them to the doors.
5) Connect the top photo eye to terminal T1. Refer to Sheet 51 in the Electrical Schematics
section of this manual.
6) Connect the pink wire to number 1, the blue wire to number 2, the brown wire to number 3
and the black wire to number 4.
7) Connect the bottom photo eye to terminal T2.
8) With the doors closed, uncoil the photo eye traveling cable and take out any kinks.
9) If the cable retainer is not already in place, install it now. Thread the cable through the
retainer and run it up to the track stop bolt.
10) Thread the cable through the front clip and pull it snug. Allow 12"-14" (305 mm - 356 mm)
of slack cable slide back through the clip. This allows the cable to move properly when
the doors open and close.
11) Open and close the doors and make sure the cable hangs properly and does not bend
out over the sill.
12) Thread the cable through the second clip on the back of the track stop bolt and re-tighten
the bolt.
13) Route the cable neatly to the car door operator box.
14) In the door operator box, connect the cable to the wiring harness labelled "photo eyes".
Refer to Sheet 74 in the Electrical Schematics section of this manual.
