ADJUSTING AND SETTING THE CONCORD EPV VARIABLE SPEED VALVE
(Operation and Parts Description)
MODELS
The EPV variable speed (control) valve is provided in two models:
• EPV-4 is intended for oil flows up to four gallons per minute.
• EPV-7 is intended for oil flow in excess of four gallons per minute, up to a maximum of
seven gallons per minute.
MICROPROCESSOR
The heart of the valve is the microprocessor that is provided with software designed and
written by Concord. The microprocessor is installed on a PC board mounted to the inside of
the door of the pump unit controller. It is factory-programmed with all of the signals that may be
required to operate the valve (in accordance with the Order Form). If necessary, the signals
may be field altered by a technician.
