• The area of responsibility, competency and supervision of the specialist personnel must be precisely
regulated by the operator during assembly, operation, maintenance and inspection;
• Eliminate lack of knowledge on the part of staff through training and instruction by adequately
trained specialist staff. If necessary, the training can be carried out by the operator by commissioning
the manufacturer / supplier. Carry out training on the Conel Flow Rain-Champion only under the
supervision of technical specialists;
• The operator ensures that maintenance, inspection and assembly are carried out by authorized and
quali ed specialist personnel who have been adequately informed by carefully studying the operating
instructions.
• If specialist personnel are not available, the operator must ensure that maintenance, inspection and
assembly are carried out by an authorized and quali ed specialist company that has adequately infor-
med itself by carefully studying the operating instructions.
• The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from maintenance, inspection and assembly not
being carried out by an authorized and quali ed specialist company.
• Note:
• After proper planning and professional installation, the most important thing is careful maintenance
by the operator. Installations must be operated and maintained in such a way that adverse effects
on the quality of the drinking water, the supply of consumers and the facilities of the water supply
company are avoided (information on this can be found in [DIN EN 806-5]).
• An indication of the use of rainwater must be attached to the service water pipe - the point of use (e.g.
toilet, washing machine connection) must also be marked with „No drinking water“.
1.3 LEGAL NOTICES
The operating instructions are part of the Conel Flow Rain-Champion. This must be kept for the entire
service life. The operating instructions must be passed on to any subsequent owner.
