¾ If the minimum water level in the tank is exceeded, the installation is automatically switched to
drinking water supply and the installation is supplied from the feed-in tank;
¾ As soon as the ow <2l/min. is the pump switching auto ofce switches off the pump with a follow-
up time of approx. 7sec.;
Now open the nearest picking point a little;
¾ As soon as the pump switcher detects the switch-on point, the pump is switched on again and
water is sucked in;
¾ There may be air in the suction line that is sucked in by the pump.
- This can cause the pump switch to detect a fault;
- „POWER“ LED Lights up, „ERROR“ LED Lights up;
- Pump is stopped;
- Press the RESET button - the pump will start operation again.
¾ If there is a large amount of air in the suction line, the pump switcher may again indicate this fault
because there is still air in the pipe – ll the pump housing with water over the lling nozzle and
then repeat the procedure described above;
- Depending on the system conguration, it takes a long time for the air to be completely pumped
out of the suction line and the Conel Flow Rain-Champion to operate in normal operating
mode.
¾ Allow possible air inclusions to escape until a continuous jet of water ows out of the sampling
point (may take a few minutes);
Close the picking point again;
¾ The pump continues to run until the pump switching machine nally shuts down the pump with an
integrated follow-up time.
To vent the entire piping system, slowly open each sampling point in the system and allow the air
pockets to escape until a continuous jet of water ows out of the sampling point;
Now the Conel Flow Rain-Champion is in automatic operation and automatically controls the supply,
with rain/needs-oriented with drinking water, the collection points.
Note:
For a long and trouble-free operating time of the Conel Flow Rain-Champion and
the entire installation, do not open the sampling points abruptly (avoidance of
pressure blows in the entire piping system).
10.3 NORMAL OPERATION
Under normal operating conditions, the Conel Flow Rain-Champion operates maintenance-free.
We recommend regular inspection and, if necessary, cleaning of the lters in the storage, suction and
drinking water pipe
Note:
Max. 20 evenly distributed starts and stops, per hour at 60 seconds on/off time
- more frequent switching intervals can lead to damage to the Conel Flow Rain-
Champion;
The Conel Flow Rain-Champion has a thermal overload protection according to
EN 60947-4-1, which automatically switches off the Conel Flow Rain-Champion
when the pump motor is thermally overloaded and automatically switches on
again after a cooling time of approx. 15 minutes.
